During his lifetime, he often applied his savvy mind to charitable projects, often enhancing the outcome by creating a challenge and providing an incentive for those around him to meet it. Henson Foundation is an extension of Mr. Henson's lifelong commitment to his fellow man. As a charitable, private foundation, the Henson Foundation provides grants for charitable works which meet the Foundation's priorities and guidelines. ----------------------- Does the Henson Foundation make grants to individuals?No. In accordance with IRS rules, the Henson Foundation only makes grants to qualified nonprofit organizations for charitable projects. ----------------------- How do I apply for a grant from the Henson Foundation?Please review the Foundation's priorities for grantmaking and your organization's eligibility. If you believe that your project and organization meet these guidelines, you must submit a Letter of Inquiry to the Foundation. Specific instructions for your Letter of Inquiry, in addition to the Foundation's guidelines and priorities, may be found here. If your project appears to be a viable candidate for a grant from the Henson Foundation, you will receive an invitation to complete a full application.
